33 Weeks Pregnant

This week was a busy one around the Miller house hold! Dan graduated with his doctorate! I can hardly believe that my husband is a medical doctor! I'm so proud of him!

On Thursday evening, Dan was hooded! It was such a special night I'll never forget! I cried when Dan walked across the stage. He has worked so hard for this time to finally arrive and it has!

Trying on his robes for size!

Just checking his email :)

Dan's hooding! I tried my best to get a video of it, but my camera skills and yelling for him just weren't very coordinated :)

It's official!

The lovely hood lined with white and blue silk for Creighton grads!

Dan with some of his favorite medical school friends!

Our little family!

On Friday, we rushed around trying to get all the groceries we thought we would need for the weekend before Dan's family arrived. Once they got to our house, we went to the park and enjoyed visiting. It was the first time I met Jenn's little girl! She's such a cutie!

On Saturday, we enjoyed Dan's graduation ceremony! Again, I felt very emotional! We had a BBQ that afternoon and played at the Children's Museum with our nephew's and niece.

Dan graduated!!!

On Sunday, we went to church and visited several church historical sites, the temple and visitors center.

On Monday, we went to the zoo and enjoyed visiting every single exhibit! Dan and I loved that we had so much family to spend such a special time in our lives with!

On Tuesday, Dan's parents went home, but Jenn and her family stayed one more day with us! We visited an airplane museum and an aquarium. We had such a fun time! We sure will miss Dan's family when we move to Florida. We are hopeful that they'll all come and visit us sometime over the next 5 years!!!

32 Weeks Pregnant

This week was pretty uneventful. Dan and I had our teeth cleaned :) No cavities for either of us!!! Dan chewing gum helped one of his go away! Who would have thought!?!

I have to admit, I'm moving into the uncomfortable stage. Heath really really likes my right ribs. He pretty much hang out in them every day, all day! He's getting big enough that I can tell when he pokes out his tiny little bum! It's so cute!

31 Weeks Pregnant

This week I picked up more hours at work, which have kept me on my toes. Dan thinks I should stop picking up the hours, but knowing that I'll be going on maternity leave soon, I'm excited to work.

This past weekend we went to a wedding at the Joslyn Museum. We were a little late since I ended up going into work, but it was a lot of fun dressing up and hanging out with friends. We ate a ton of candy and stayed up entirely too late. I wish I would have taken some cute pictures of Dan and me :( Since I've been pregnant, my bedtime is 10pm. I just can't seem to stay up any later. I literally can't keep my eyes open!

This Tuesday, my friend Maggie threw me a baby shower! It was so much fun! She took so much time and spent so much money on me. I'm extremely spoiled! I had such a great time at the baby shower and I'm so glad so many of my friends were able to make it! Thanks for all the gifts and support!!!

At the baby shower, I finally revealed Heath's name to all of my friends through a fun birth story! If I recall right, he is going to be 9lbs 10 ounces and 24 inches long and born at the zoo!

The decorations and food table (without the food set up yet) I forgot to take one once everything was set out! We at lots of cookies, fresh fruit, and yummy milk--Heath wiggles when I drank the chocolate milk!

Wishes for Heath from all my friends! Thanks for your sweet wishes! I hope they come true!

The party favors!

The loot filled my living room :) Thanks!

It's a night to celebrate Heath, which I will never forget!

30 Weeks Pregnant

This week has been nothing out of the ordinary. I've just been working and trying to catch up on my sleep from working over time. This week at work we have to complete our competencies, so I've been studying and taking tests, which have been easy, but very time consuming and they must all be done during work time, which is super stressful :( I'm just glad they're done!

I had a dream of Heath this week, which was extremely special. I got to see his face! His nose is my absolute favorite. Our little guy just keeps on growing and growing!! I just can't wait to meet him!

29 Weeks Pregnant

This week at Heath's doctor appointment, his heart rate was 136 and I measured 31 weeks along, but my due date remains the same. I keep asking my OB to estimate Heaths' weight, but she wont. She says that an estimate would be a pound off either way, so since it's not accurate, she wont even try. People keep saying I look so small, but I feel huge!!

This week I've been extremely tired. I've been picking up some over time and it's been tough, but I'm just so grateful I have the opportunity to pick up more hours.

28 Weeks Pregnant!

This week we went to Jacksonville Florida to look for houses. We were rather successful. We were only in Jacksonville for 2 and a half days, but we made the most out of our trip.

On the plane ride to Florida!

In the Chicago airport there are these fancy toilet seat covers that change themselves when you push a button!

Love this little SaniSeat!

The first day we spent the entire time looking at houses with our Realtor. We looked at several homes and condos. I think it was the third place that we looked at that I fell in love with. We ended up putting an offer in on the condo. I also fell in love with a beautiful home, but due to the distance from Mayo and the beach, we decided it wasn't for us although it was absolutely perfect other than the location. The second day we went to the beach and had a picnic with our new friends, the Daughertys. It's so nice to already have friends in Jacksonville!

Dan and I took a nice long drive around the ocean front and really loved it! We did a lot of exploring and a nice old retired lady let us in to see the beach from her condo! It's nice to know that so many people are friendly here!  (A picture of a view from her porch!)

Mainly the second day, we read over contracts and met with our Realtor again to go through paperwork for our condo offer. When that was finished, we stopped over at the Mayo Clinic and gave ourselves a little tour!

Radiation Oncology is in the basement! I guess there wasn't a big surprise there!

The last day we spent traveling to Orlando to catch our flight back home to Omaha. On our way home, we met a really night family who we were able to chat with while our plane was delayed. It was a very short trip and very fun! We can't wait to move to Jacksonville!

27 Weeks Pregnant

This week was really busy at work. I floated to the Solid Organ Transplant Unit and worked really late Monday night to catch up from my busy day of patient care. It seems that lately Dan and I have been busy every week. I can't figure out why. This past weekend was Easter and we enjoyed the holiday together! I was so glad I didn't have to work :) Sunday afternoon we took naps and then had dinner with the Patchs. They are also moving to the Jacksonville area once they are done with dental school! This week we also made plans to travel to Jacksonville to look for a place to live! I guess that's why this week was extra ordinarily busy.

Heath has now discovered that there is more room under my right rib.

On Friday night, we traveled to South Dakota once I was done with work. We spent the weekend at our friends cabin. It was fun hiking, shooting, making meals together and just hanging out. I didn't get to hop in the hot tube or ride the four-wheelers, but I did dip my toes in the nice warm water!! We sure will miss our med school friends.

Once we got home from the cabins, I enjoyed a baby shower put on by the ladies at work! It was so nice to play games, eat a yummy meal, and chat outside of work! I sure will miss these ladies once I'm gone!
